South-Eastern Division
The East Street South Station was first commissioned on February 21, 1990 by Mr. Bernard K. Bonamy, Commissioner of Police. At the time it was manned by a staff of fifteen (15) officers of various ranks. Over the past decade, the developments of sub-divisions and an influx of persons created a need for youth directed activities and improved community police relationship. As the station evolved, a number of programs were instituted.
Bounded southwest by South Beach, west by Blue Hill Road, northwest by Independence Drive, northeast by Robinson Road, east by Golf Course Boulevard to the sea, southeast by Holiday Drive, and southeast by South Beach Road onto South Beach.
