Madelene Meadows
Ms. Meadows has been a member of the Royal Bahamas Police Force for the past thirty five years, joining the organization on June 6th, 1985. She has worked in various capacities during her illustrious career, which began at the Air Port Police Station in October 1985. She also worked at Southern Police in November, 1985 to 1988, Police Training College from 1988 to 1990 and the Criminal Records (New Providence) from 1990 to 2018. Her present posting is the Criminal Records Office, Grand Bahama District, where she has responsibility as the Officer in Charge.
Her professional career has rewarded her the Rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police. This upward mobility in the Royal Bahamas Police Force began in 1996 where she attained the rank of Corporal, 2001 she attain the rank of Sergeant, 2006 she attain the rank of Inspector and 2017 Assistant Superintendent of Police her present rank. Ms. Meadows is a stalwart in the Criminal Records Office Community having trained countless numbers of officers in the art of fingerprints and all matters relative to this discipline. Her proficiency in the use and function of The AS400 has allowed her to train many police officers in the Royal Bahamas Police. Her skills in these two disciplines has made her the point individual for training of many family islands based officers. Additionally, she has completed courses in Scenes of Crime and Fingerprint in Barbados of 2007.
