James Moss
Chief Superintendent of Police
Ms. Alma Rebecca Rolle a native of Forest, Exuma and Mr. Clarence Alexander Moss a native of Stuart's Manor, Exuma welcomed their sixth child into the world on December 10th 1968, while living in New Providence. To this child the name James Ean Moss was given.
James received his early education from the Ridgeland Primary School and later went on to the SC McPherson Secondary School, and finally graduated from the AF Adderley Sr. High School.
Upon his Graduation in June 1986, James already knew where his passion was and he was determined to pursue it. He always dreamt of becoming a Police Officer and applied to the Royal Bahamas Police Force Training College for enlistment. On June 1st 1987 was accepted into the Training program and graduated on October 1987. This was the beginning of 33 years of committed, loyal and dedicated service.
Chief Superintendent Moss has embodied his natural talent of engagement with the priorities of the Royal Bahamas Police Force and has impacted many communities with his Community and youth development initiatives that have led too many enlisting in the RBPF. He credits his Grandmother for his quest to Community development.
Beyond his love for the RBPF, he also enjoys signing, playing tennis, meeting people, travelling.
