Conscientious of the needs of an evolving, modern Bahamian society, Rahming equipped himself to remain on the cutting edge of criminal inquiry. Complementing this move he began practicing a leadership style that generated camaraderie, enthusiasm and team work. His modus operandi is one that has dismantled the traditional leadership status quo in favour of a 'we', 'us' and 'in this together' mentality.
Rahming has a significantly rich background in investigative inquests. These include but are not limited to certifications from Europe, United States, South America and the Carribean in the following areas: Criminal Investigation, Cold Case & Missing Children, Homicide Investigation, Major Case Management and Gang Investigative Strategy, Leadership Workshop, Countering Organized Crime and Crime Scene Investigation, Leadership Certification for Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers, Arson Investigation, Methodology & Protocol and Responding to Missing Children.
The course of Rahming's accelerated career path can be traced back to his 16 year stint in the Homicide Department and 10 within and at the helm of the Firearms Unit. He produced a meticulous, insightful calibre of work, directly attributed to his commitment to excellence. It is not surprising then, that he ascended to the position of head of the Homicide Unit in 2017.
Ch/Supt. Rahming has been the recipient of the Commissioner's Commendation Award on multiple occassions; one of which acknowledged his 81% homicide solvency rate- a noteworthy accomplishment. Rahming has been medaled The Meritorious, also the Long Service and Good Conduct awards. A crowning feature of his career is the commendations and acknowledgements he received from members of the public for distinguishing himself in the performance of duty.
Contributing selflessly to the mammoth task of policing, Rahming has earned the respect and admiration of his peers. He continues to offer diligent service as the newly appointed Director of the Central Intelligence Bureau. Rahming enjoys the adventure of a good book, listening to music and singing.
