The RBPF Provides Training for Other Countries
Posted on January 29, 2020 | by The Royal Bahamas Police Force

The Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police (RTCIP) has once again partnered with the Royal Bahamas Police Force to provide training for its recruits.

20 police recruits from the RTCIP will be training alongside 35 Bahamian police recruits at our Grand Bahama Police College campus. The training will begin this Friday (Jan 31).

Sgt. Damian Mitchell from the RTCIP arrived in Nassau yesterday to begin pre-training orientation. He spent time with local instructors who brought him up to speed with our training policies, procedures, standards and curriculum.

Sgt. Mitchell also paid a courtesy call on Acting Commissioner Paul Rolle at Police HQ.

Today, he leaves for Grand Bahama where he will join the faculty of the Police College in Grand Bahama and make final preparations to receive the recruits on Friday.
