A voice note has come to the attention of the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch of the Royal Bahamas Police Force The voice note talks about the dangers of an online game called Freefire. In the voice note, a person is warning the public that that particular game is responsible for hacking into their bank account and illegally stealing funds. We would advise the public to be cautious of participating in 'sand-box' mode platform games (such as Minecraft, Fortnite, War of Worlds etc) that require the participant to have an account that is attached to their e-mail and credit/debit card. Other participants on the game platform may potentially be computer hackers. We advise you to exercise caution when signing up for certain on-line games/activities that require banking and e-mail information.
