The Annual Church Parade began at 12:45pm with the Remembrance Service for Officers killed in the line of duty Commissioner of Police and Chairman of the Dependents Trust, Mr. Clifford Johnson laid wreaths. Wreaths were then laid in each of fourteen (14) Family Island Districts, all being streamed live via internet to Officers assembled on the Rose Garden and across the Commonwealth. The first time we held a combined Church service. The service was conducted by the Chaplain. One Officer V/R Sergeant 378 Melinda Pratt who died on 31 august 2020, was added to the list of deceased Officers. The Annual Church service was held on the Rose Garden and streamed live to the Family Islands. It was also broadcast live via ZNS TV. The service was conducted by the Chaplain with members of the Bahamas Christian Council participating. In attendance were the Governor General, Prime Minister and Minister of National Security who gave the usual remarks.
The sermon was delivered by Bishop Delton Fernander, President of the Bahamas Christian Council. His Theme was "Everyone in his place", Judges 7:20-22. When everyone is in his/her place doing what they should, great things happen. Small things in God's hands do great things. Do the best you can with the tools you have".
