On March 30th , 2020 at approximately 2:45pm, Mr. Paul Allison Rolle officially assumed the top position of the Royal Bahamas Police Force as he became the 8th Bahamian to be appointed as Commissioner of Police under an independent Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Mr. Rolle succeeds Commissioner Retired Anthony Ferguson as Commissioner of Police while the Royal Bahamas Police Force celebrates 180 years of distinguished and exceptional policing service.
The Force is a noble Organization founded on the tenets of integrity, loyalty and courage. Under Commissioner Rolle's leadership, the Force will continue to execute its core mandate as outlined by the Police Act which includes: maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, preventing and detecting crime, apprehending offenders and enforcing all laws.
