RBPF Officials Meet with Leaders of the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department

In a continued effort to explore different ideas and programs geared toward making schools safer, ACP Dr. Chaswell Hanna along with Insp. Anton Curry, met with Police Chief Ivan Silva, Chief of the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department.
Chief Silva leads the largest Schools Police Department in the entire USA that provides SROs for over 351 kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools throughout South Florida.
As the RBPF continues to build-out its SRO program, the policies, procedures and programs shared during the visit will add value to the process.
