Police Officers Successfully Complete Courses at the Police College

Seventy-seven (77) police officers from various divisions and ranks of the Force successfully completed various 80-hour leadership and development courses at the Police College.

The graduation ceremony was held at Police HQ this morning. Present at the ceremony was Commissioner of Police Mr. Clayton Fernander, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Leamond Deleveaux and members of SELT.

ACP Dr. Chaswell Hanna presented the candidates to the Commissioner for graduation. During his charge, Commissioner Fernander encouraged the graduates to put their skills to work to help keep our nation safe.

This brings the total number of officers trained thus far for 2024 to 605 including 503 police officers, 19 RBDF Marines, 52 Bahamas Customs Recruits and 31 Security Officers.
