On July 18, 2022 Commissioner Clayton Fernander and the Senior Executive Leadership Team met with the Honorable Minister of Social Services and Urban Development, Mr. Obediah Wilchcombe along with, PS Mr. Joel Lewis, Chairman of Urban Renewal, Mr. Stephen Dean, Mr. Dinesh Vaidya and Ms. Niharika Atturls of Kiya.ai Company.

The meeting was held at Police Headquarters and it is the beginning of a new partnership between the parties to charter the way forward for the newly formed Domestic Violence Unit in the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
