POLICE INVESTIGATES RECENT HOMICIDE
Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of an adolescent female in Nassau Village that occurred on Saturday 06th January, 2024, shortly before midnight.
Initial reports indicate that the 16-year-old female victim was inside her home on Lawton Avenue, charging a mobile device, when unknown person(s) fired gunshots into the residence, resulting in the teen being fatally shot.
Emergency medical personnel examined the victim on scene and found no signs of life.
Police are seeking the whereabouts of the suspect/s responsible for this incident, and appeal to anyone with information that can help solve this matter to contact 919/911, the Criminal Investigation Department at 502-9991/2, or Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477).
