NEW PROVIDENCE
TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR FIREARM POSSESSION
Two (2) adult males were arrested off Minnie Street on Saturday 16th March, 2024, following the seizure of a loaded firearm by officers from Operation Ceasefire.
According to initial reports, around 1:00 a.m., acting on information, Police and Defense Force officers while at Miller’s End searched an abandoned vehicle occupied by two (2) men. During the search, a firearm containing ammunition was found inside the vehicle, resulting in the arrest of both men ages 23 and 25.
Investigations into this incident will be conducted by the Anti-Gang & Firearm Task Force Unit.
STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police seek the public’s assistance in locating the following vehicles that were reportedly stolen on Friday 15th March, 2024:
- A gray 2010 Nissan Cube L/P #GF4844 – stolen from Davis Street
- A pearl white 2009 Nissan Cube L/P #AG8831 – stolen from Croton Street
