POLICE SEEK DUO IN ARMED ROBBERY
Police are searching for two (2) armed males who reportedly robbed two (2) females of an undisclosed sum of cash on Friday 01st March, 2024,
The incident reportedly occurred around 10:40 p.m. at a banking institution in the vicinity of Poinciana Drive and Nassau Street.
According to preliminary reports, the female upon completing a cash transaction at the ATM was entering her vehicle, when she was approached by two males brandishing firearms and demanding cash.
The men reportedly robbed the female of her handbag which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, along with a female passenger, and fled the area on foot, east along Poincianna Drive, making good on their escape.
Police are investigating and are once again encouraging members of the public who must use ATM during the night, to be aware of your surroundings and to consider utilizing ATM machines that inhibits you becoming a victim of crime.
POLICE SEEK SUSPECT IN STABBING INCIDENT
Police are searching for a male who stabbed two (2) security officers while at a bar on Bernard Road on Saturday 02nd March 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. after the suspect was denied access to the bar due to his belligerent behavior.
Both victims, ages 21 and 32 were stabbed multiple times, and taken to the hospital via EMS personnel where, at present their conditions are unknown. Police investigations continue in this matter.
