POLICE INVESTIGATE DROWNING INCIDENT
Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding a drowning incident that occurred on Thursday, 27th February, 2025, sometime around 3:00 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, the body of a male was discovered floating motionless at Potters Cay Dock. Subsequently, police responded to the scene and the body was retrieved from the waters and examined by Emergency Medical Services personnel who found no vital signs of life.
Investigation continues.

SUSPECT ARRESTED REFERENCE TO SEXUAL ASSAULT
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a woman that occurred on Thursday, 27th February, 2025, sometime around 5:00 a.m. in Dundas Town, Abaco.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was catching a ride with a male known to her, however, during the journey the male allegedly produced a sharp object and sexually assaulted her. In response, the suspect was taken into custody by police and he is assisting with the investigation.
