NEW PROVIDENCE
AMMUNITION SEIZED, SUSPECT ARRESTED
On Tuesday, 4th February 2025, officers from Operation Black Scorpion seized ammunition and arrested an adult male shortly after 2:00 a.m.
Preliminary reports indicate that a search warrant was executed at a home on Coco Plum Close, where a quantity of ammunition was found. This led to the arrest of a 25-year-old male occupant.
Operation Black Scorpion is a collaborative effort involving officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force.
STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police seek the public’s assistance in locating the following vehicles that were reported stolen on Monday, 3rd February 2025:
- A silver Nissan Note L/P #AD6514 – stolen from Yorkshire Drive, off West Bay Street.
- A burgundy 2014 Nissan Note – stolen from Church Hill Avenue.
NORTHERN BAHAMAS
GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN STABBING INCIDENT
Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a stabbing that occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, 3rd February 2025, in Pinder’s Point.
Responding officers discovered an adult female with an apparent stabbed wound who was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. She is listed in serious condition at this time.
A 52-year-old man was taken into police custody and is assisting with the investigation.
