ARRAIGNMENT
Police wishes to advise the General Public that on Thursday, 30th January, 2025, a 33-year-old male will be placed before the Magistrate Court for Murder.
This is in connection to the fatal shooting incident of an adult male that occurred on Cowpen Road on Friday, 24th January, 2024.
FAMILY ISLANDS
ELEUTHERA:
Police in Eleuthera arrested a 19-year-old man and recovered a stolen vehicle on Thursday, 30th January, 2025.
Initial reports indicate that after 2:00 a.m., officers from Governor’s Harbour Police Station responded to a traffic accident on Queens Highway in Rainbow Bay. The driver sustained injuries, and investigations revealed that the vehicle, a 2018 Subaru XV, was stolen earlier. Following medical treatment, the driver was taken into custody. Investigations are ongoing.
