STOLEN VEHICLES ALERT

Police seek the public’s assistance in locating the following vehicles that were reported stolen on Thursday, 16th January, 2025:

  • A brown 2013 Nissan Juke L/P #AJ4148 – stolen from Pride Estates #3.
  • A white Nissan Cube L/P #AW5540 – stolen from Farrington Road.
  • A 2010 Nissan Cube L/P #AZ1287 – stolen from Saunders Acres, off Faith Avenue.

If you have any information about these vehicles, please contact 911, 919, the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigation Department @ 502-9991. Furthermore, anonymous tips are encouraged and can be submitted to CRIME STOPPERS @ 328-TIPS (8477).

NORTHERN BAHAMAS

GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE RECOVERED FIREARM

On Thursday, 16th January, 2025, police in Grand Bahama, acting on information, recovered a firearm containing ammunition.

According to initial reports, shortly after 11:50 p.m., officers arrived at the junction of Polaris Drive and Haddock Street, where they discovered the weapon in a bushy area. No arrests have been made. Investigation continues.

ABACO: ARRAIGNMENT UPDATE

Police wish to inform the General Public that on Friday, 17th January, 2025, Jessica Bobo, aged 20, was arraigned in Abaco’s Magistrate Court #1 before Magistrate Ancella Evans for Unlawful Sexual. Intercourse with a Minor and Production of Child Pornography.

She was not required to enter a plea and has been remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections Services until Thursday, 03rd April, 2025.

This is in connection to a recent video that circulated on social media platforms regarding a child being sexually abused.
