FIREARM CONFISCATED IN SUSPICIOUS DEATH INVESTIGATION
On Friday, 10th January 2025, police confiscated a firearm while investigating the suspicious death of a 28-year-old man.
According to preliminary reports, shortly after 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a gunshot complaint on Frank Edgecombe Road, off Fox Hill Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head area. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was allegedly playing with the firearm when it discharged accidentally.
Medical Services visited the scene but did not find any vital signs of life. The weapon discovered on the scene was collected for evidential purposes as the investigation continues.
