ABACO: ARRAIGNMENT UPDATE
On Tuesday 19th November, 2024, three (3) men were arraigned in the Marsh Harbour Magistrate’s Court before Assistant Chief Magistrate Ancilla Evans in connection with an Armed Robbery that occurred on Wednesday 13th November, 2024, in Cooper’s Town:
- Traneko Grant, aged 22, was charged for Receiving. He pled guilty and was given a conditional discharge and ordered to complete one hundred (100) hours of community service. The matter is adjourned to 6th February, 2025.
- William Smith, aged 20, and Makaeo Bailliou, aged 21, were charged for Armed Robbery. They were not required to enter a plea and was remanded to The Bahamas Department of Corrections until 6th February, 2025.
