MAN HOSPITALIZED IN SHOOTING INCIDENT
A 30-year-old man has been hospitalized on Monday 18th November, 2024, after a shooting incident that occurred on West Bay Street off Nassau Street.
Police officers inside Fort Charlotte Police Station were alerted to gunshots around 12:30 a.m. and responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, they found an adult male lying in the street, east of the police station, with multiple gunshot injuries. Initial reports indicate that the victim was involved in a dispute with another male while at a nearby nightclub, resulting in the suspect brandishing a firearm and shooting him.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body. He was transported by Emergency Medical Services to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY
On Sunday 17th November, 2024, an armed robbery occurred at a business establishment in vicinity of East Street and Young Street.
Preliminary reports indicate that after 3:00 p.m., four (4) masked males entered the premises and confronted the employees. One of the culprits brandished a firearm and they stole a large sum of cash from the business before fleeing the scene in a western direction.

FIREARM SEIZED, MAN ARRESTED
On Sunday 17th November, 2024, officers from Operation Blitz seized a firearm and arrested a 26- year-old man at a residence off Kemp Road.
According to preliminary reports, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Sutton Street after 8:00 p.m. During the search, a firearm containing ammunition was discovered, leading to the arrest of the sole occupant. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
Operation Blitz is a collaborative effort involving officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, and The Bahamas Immigration Department.

POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY
Police are searching for suspects involved in an alleged armed robbery that occurred on Monday 18th November, 2024, at a business establishment located off Harold Road.
According to initial reports, around 7:30 a.m., two (2) unknown males exited a burgundy Japanese- model vehicle and approached an employee outside the establishment. One of the suspects, armed with a firearm, forced the employee into the office, where they stole a sum of cash from the business. The culprits then left the scene in the vehicle, heading south on Fire Trail Road.

STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police seek the public’s assistance in finding the following vehicles that were reported stolen on Monday 18th November, 2024:
- A white 2016 Nissan Cube L/P #AX5954 – reported stolen from Eastern Estates.
- A black 2020 Nissan Cube L/P #AY0493 – reported stolen from Foxdale.

NORTHERN BAHAMAS
GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE INVESTIGATE WIRE AND CABLE THEFT
Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a stealing incident that occurred on Monday 18th November, 2024, in the Holmes Rock and the West End communities.
Initial reports indicate that around 1:00 a.m., a large amount of cooper wire and fiber cable was cut and stolen from utility poles along Queen's Highway stretching from Holmes Rock to West End.

ABACO: ARRAIGNMENT
Police in Abaco wishes to advise the General Public that on Tuesday 19th November, 2024, three (3) adult males, aged 22, 21, and 20, will be placed before the Magistrate Court in connection to an Armed Robbery.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 13th November, 2024, at a business establishment in Cooper’s Town. Two (2) of the suspects will be arraigned for Armed Robbery, while the third will be arraigned for Receiving.
FAMILY ISLANDS
ANDROS: BOATING TRAGEDY CLAIMS ONE LIFE
Police in Andros are investigating a boating incident near Morgan’s Bluff that resulted in the death of a 46-year-old man and injured a 44-year-old man.
On Sunday 17th November, 2024, sometime around 2:20 p.m., officers were alerted of the incident after a 52-year-old male swam ashore at Pleasant Harbour seeking help. Initial reports indicate that on Saturday 15th November, 2024, the 52-year-old departed Morgan’s Bluff aboard a boat enroute to the Berry Islands with two (2) men, aged 46 and 44. The boat experienced mechanical issues around 6:00 p.m. causing it to take on water and capsized miles off Morgan’s Bluff. The vessel drifted to a nearby cay, where the group spent the night. On Sunday 17th November, around 2:00 p.m., the 52-year-old swam to shore to get help. With the assistance of civilians, police retrieved the two remaining men.
The 46-year-old was pronounced dead at the clinic, while the 44-year-old, who was semi-conscious, is scheduled to be air-lifted to Nassau for further medical treatment.
