NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE HOMICIDE
Police are seeking any information regarding a homicide that occurred on Wednesday 13th November, 2024, in Eastern New Providence, resulting in the death of an adult male.
Sometime round 11:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Killdeer Drive and Beatrice Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive male victim with multiple injuries lying on Killdeer Drive, just west of Beatrice Avenue. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was confronted by an unknown male in a white Japanese-model vehicle. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim and shot him multiple times before fleeing west in the vehicle on Killdeer Drive.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his head and upper body, along with a stab wound. Investigation continues.

POLICE INVESTIGATE SEXUAL ASSAULT
An investigation is underway into an alleged sexual assault incident that occurred on Wednesday 13th November, 2024, involving a 41-year-old woman.
Initial reports indicate that after 3:00 a.m., the victim was sexually assaulted by two (2) unknown males inside a business on Soldier Road.
Investigation continue into this matter.
TWO INDIVIDUALS INJURED IN STABBING INCIDENT
On Wednesday 13th November, 2024, two (2) individuals – a 19-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were stabbed in separate incidents.
The first incident took place shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Baillou Hill Road near a school, where the male victim was stabbed and later transported to the hospital. His injuries are not serious.
The second incident occurred on Fox Hill Road near a park, after 9:00 p.m. Reports indicate that the female victim was stabbed and treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Services, and her injuries are also not serious.
NORTHERN BAHAMAS
ABACO: POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY
Police in Abaco are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred on Wednesday 13th November, 2024, at a business on Front Street in Cooper’s Town.
According to initial reports, an unknown male entered the establishment, brandished a firearm, and held an employee at bay. The culprit stole a large sum of cash, belonging to the business, before fleeing the scene. Investigation continues.
FAMILY ISLANDS
ABACO: POLICE INVESTIGATE TRAFFIC FATALITY
Police on Abaco are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred sometime around 6:40 a.m. on Thursday 14th November, 2024, claiming the life of a male driver.
Initial reports indicate that the accident took place on Sherlin Bootle Highway involving a lone male driver of a grey four door van. The driver apparently lost control of his vehicle and collided into a rock.
Emergency Medical Services and officers responded to the scene and reported that the driver received severe injuries and there were no signs of life.
Investigation continues.
