RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police successfully recovered a silver Kia Sportage on Monday 28th October, 2024 from the areaof Faith Way.
Investigations are ongoing.

STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police in Grand Bahama are seeking the public’s assistance in finding the following vehicle that was reported stolen on Monday 28th October, 2024:
- A black Nissan Fit L/P #AS2992 – stolen from Beach Way Drive.
If you have any information about this theft or notice this vehicle, please contact 911, 919, the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigation Department in Grand Bahama. Furthermore, anonymous tips are encouraged and can be submitted to CRIME STOPPERS @ 300-TIPS (8476).
NEW PROVIDENCE
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATIONS UNDERWAY
Two (2) adult males are deceased following a dispute which occurred on Tuesday 29th October, 2024 shortly before 6:00 p.m., at a residence off Malcolm Road.
According to initial reports, the males, who are known to each other, were at a home on Mutton Fish Drive and engaged in an altercation that reportedly escalated. It is further reported that during the altercation, one of the males produced a sharp instrument and stabbed the other.
Upon arrival, responding officers found one of the males, aged 42, unresponsive. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) examined the male on arrival but were unable to detect any vital signs of life, and he was presumed deceased
The second male, aged 38, suffered severe lacerations to the upper body and was immediately transported to the hospital by EMS; however, he later succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact causes of death. Investigations continue.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police successfully recovered a white Nissan Tiida L/P #AM5810 on Tuesday 29th October, 2024, from Lake View Drive. The vehicle was reported stolen on Sunday 27th October, 2024, from the area of Benson Road.
Investigations are ongoing into this matter.
NORTHERN BAHAMAS
GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE INVESTIGATES ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT
Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 25-year-old female that occurred around 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday 29th October, 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that a male known to the victim sexually assaulted her while at a residence in Bartlett Hill.
Police are following significant leads in this matter as investigations continue.

OPERATION BLITZ YIELDS POSITIVE RESULTS
The current collaborative initiative, titled “Operation Blitz,” involving officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and the Bahamas Immigration Department, continues to produce favorable outcomes.
During the review period from October 21, 2024, to October 27, 2024, thirteen (13) search warrants were performed at multiple private residences and businesses. Additionally, thirty (30) individuals were arrested for various offenses, including shop breaking, outstanding warrants of arrests (traffic, criminal and civil), and immigration purposes.
The police would like to encourage the public to contact their nearest police station to provide information regarding suspected criminal activity in their communities, as the Royal Bahamas Police Force remains committed to its ongoing efforts to reduce crime and create safer communities
HOMICIDE VICTIMS IDENTIFIED
The police wish to inform the public that two adult males who were fatally shot during separate incidents have been officially identified.
Brad Sands, a 22-year-old resident of Acklins Street, was fatally shot on Saturday 26th October 2024, at West End Avenue.
Christopher Strachan, a 34-year-old resident of Lady Slipper Avenue, was fatally shot on Monday 28th October, 2024, at Step Street-Fox Hill.
