POLICE RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLES
Police, with the assistance of the public, successfully recovered the following vehicles on Sunday, September 29, 2024 after they were reported stolen:
- A black Nissan Juke L/P# AH2668 from Wright’s Lane off Wulff Road
- A burgundy Nissan Note L/P# AS1603 from Western Esplanade parking lot
- A burgundy 2013 Nissan Note L/P# AZ8006 from Rocky Pine Road
NORTHERN BAHAMAS GRAND BAHAMA
SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR FIREARM POSSESSION
In Grand Bahama, officers from Operation Falcon Claw confiscated an unlicensed firearm on Monday, September 30, 2024, and arrested a 42-year-old male.
According to preliminary reports, around 1:00 a.m., officers at a business establishment on Beachway Drive observed a male acting suspiciously approaching a parked black Chevrolet truck. The officers detained the male and conducted a search of this vehicle, which he owned, discovering the weapon inside, resulting in his arrest.
The Anti-Gang & Firearms Investigation Task Force will continue investigations into this matter.
The police would like to encourage the public to contact their nearest police station to provide information regarding suspected criminal activity in their communities, as the Royal Bahamas Police Force remains committed to its ongoing efforts to reduce crime and create safer communities

ARRAIGNMENT
The Royal Bahamas Police Force wishes to inform the public that on Monday, September 30, 2024, a 24-year-old male from Sapodilla Boulevard will be arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court for the offence of Murder.
This is in connection with the fatal shooting that resulted in Valentino Bowe's death on September 2nd, 2024, in the area of Sugar Kid Bowe on Soldier Road.
