NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE TRIPLE SHOOTING
Police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred on Monday 02nd September, 2024, which left two adult males injured and another one dead.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 9:00 p.m., officers responded to gunshots emanating in the area of Soldier Road and Windsor Place Road. Upon arrival, they discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds, with one of the males unresponsive on the western exterior of a licensed premises.
On arrival, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, examined the unresponsive male, but they were unable to detect any vital life signs. The other two victims, both 35 years old, sustained injuries to their upper and lower extremities and were transported to the hospital for medical attention.
It is purported that the victims were congregating outside of the premises when two (2) unknown males, dressed in dark clothing, emerged from behind a nearby wall and opened fire in their direction, subsequently shooting the men. The suspects fled on foot south along Windsor Place Road, making good on their escape.
