NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY
Police are searching for two (2) armed male suspects who reportedly robbed another male of his silver Honda Fit L/P #AZ4438 on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Initial reports revealed that two unidentified gunmen confronted the victim at a park on Baillou Hill Road around 11:30 p.m., robbing him of his vehicle and a sum of cash.
Police are appealing to members of the public to be on the lookout for the stolen vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is advised to contact 911/ 919, the Criminal Investigation Department at 502-9991/2, the nearest police station or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477).
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED
Police recovered a gray Nissan Bluebird L/P #AT1973 on Saturday 27th July, 2024 in the area of Knowles Drive off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway. The vehicle was reported stolen on Wednesday, 24th July 2024, from Rena Close.
This matter is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department.
NORTHERN BAHAMAS
GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE INVESTIGATE SEXUAL ASSAULT
A 37-year-old man is being questioned by the police in Grand Bahama in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a teenage female that took place on Cadwallader Drive around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The 37-year-old suspect was apprehended by Mobile Division officers near the International Bazaar shortly after 10:00 p.m. Investigations are ongoing.
