NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE SUICIDE ATTEMPT
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an attempted suicide that occurred on Thursday 25th July, 2024, involving a 61-year-old male.
Initial reports indicate that shortly before 11:00 a.m., officers attached to the Western Division responded to an adult male attempting to drive a vehicle into the waters at Clifton Pier.
Upon arrival, they intervened and subdued the 61-year-old, who was subsequently transported to the hospital by EMS personnel for further assessment and evaluation.
Investigations are ongoing.
