NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE FOUND BODY
The discovery of a 45-year-old male's lifeless body off Collins Avenue on Friday, July 12, 2024, is the subject of an investigation.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 8:00 p.m., police, acting on information, arrived at an abandoned structure on Seventh Terrace when they discovered the male’s body in a state of decomposition.
A post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations continue.
STABBING INCIDENT LEAVES MAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Police are searching for a male suspect in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday 13th July, 2024, leaving another man seriously injured.
Initial reports suggest that the victim was at a nightclub located on Fox Hill Road around 3:00 a.m., when he got into an argument with another male, which escalated, resulting in the male reportedly stabbing him multiple times with a sharp object.
The victim sustained stab wounds to his neck and upper extremities and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. Currently, his condition is listed as serious. Investigations are ongoing into this matter.

GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE SEIZE LARGE QUANTITY OF DRUGS
Police in Grand Bahama seized a large quantity of suspected marijuana on Friday 12th July, 2024,around 7:30 p.m. off Explorer Way.
According to reports, Drug Enforcement Unit officers were on mobile patrol when they observed a Japanese vehicle leaving a bushy area that leads to a service road. After checking that area, they discovered a large quantity of suspected marijuana. No arrests were made in connection with this incident.
The drugs weighed an estimated 68 1?2 pounds with an estimated street value of $68,500.00.
Investigations are ongoing.
