NEW PROVIDENCE

POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY

Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery that took place on Saturday 06th July, 2024, on Fire Trail Road.

Initial reports indicate that around 1:00 a.m., the victim, while in the parking lot of a nightclub, encountered two (2) unknown males, one of whom was armed with a firearm, as they robbed him of his vehicle, a beige 2015 Hyundai Accent. The culprits fled the scene traveling east towards Sir Milo Butler Highway.

Police are appealing to members of the public to be on the lookout for the stolen vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is advised to contact 911, 919, the Criminal Investigation Department at 502-9991, or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477).

STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT

Stolen

Police seek the public’s assistance in locating a white 2014 Nissan Cube L/P #AM3708 that was reportedly stolen from Poet Drive in Sea Breeze Estates on Friday 05th July, 2024.

Recovered

The following vehicles were recovered on Friday 05th July, 2024:

  1. A Nissan Serena – recovered on Frazier Allotment off Soldier Road.
  2. A burgundy Nissan Juke L/P #AZ5535 – recovered on Meeting Street off Baillou Hill Road. It was reported stolen on Friday 05th July, 2024, from Sea Beach Boulevard in Sea Beach Estates.

    EXUMA: POLICE INVESTIGATE PLANE CRASH

    Police in Exuma are investigating a crash landing that occured in Moss Town, Exuma on Friday 05th July, 2024, shortly before 4:00 p.m.

    Preliminary reports indicate that the pilot of a twin-engine Piper Aztec was conducting a test flight when he experienced mechanical problems, leading to a crash landing in bushes near the runway. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, did not report any injuries.

    Investigations are ongoing into this incident.
