MAN INJURED IN SHOOTING INCIDENT
Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday 04th July, 2024, resulting in 59-year-old male being injured.
According to preliminary reports, around 2:00 p.m., the victim was at a residence on Butler Street in Nassau Village when he was reportedly shot in the leg by an armed male who fled the immediate area.
EMS personnel transported the victim to the hospital for medical assistance.
Police are appealing to members of the public with information about this incident to come forward, or contact 911/919, the Criminal Investigation Department at 502-9991, or Crime Stoppers at 328- TIPS (8477).

ABACO: POLICE INVESTIGATE BOATING INCIENT
Police in Abaco are investigating a boating incident that left a 27-year-old female seriously injured on Thursday 04th July, 2024.
According to initial reports, around 10:00 a.m., the operator of a 27-foot vessel departed from Grand Bahama en route to Turtle Cay, Abaco, but while navigating waters near Fox Town, Abaco, struck a reef, throwing the victim overboard, who sustained serious head injuries upon impact.
A nearby vessel rescued the female, as well as all of the boat's occupants, bringing them to shore. The victim was taken to the local clinic, but she will be airlifted to New Providence for additional medical attention. Investigations are ongoing
