POLICE SEEK SHOP-BREAKING SUSPECT/S
Police in New Providence are searching for the person(s) responsible for breaking into a major food store located on Baillou Hill Road South.
Preliminary reports indicate that shortly before 5:00 a.m. on Monday 01st July, 2024, police were notified that the eastern glass door of the establishment was extensively damaged. Police are investigating and appealing to members of the public who may have any information that can assist in locating the suspect(s) to contact 911, 919, the Criminal Investigations Department at 502- 9991/2, or CRIME STOPPERS @328-TIPS.
POLICE INVESTIGATE SERIOUS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Officers from the Traffic Division are investigating a traffic accident that has left a 21-year-old female with serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., on Friday 29th June, 2024, on West Bay Street, west of Sandy Port.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim and her family were leaving the beach when the female was struck by the driver of a gold Japanese model vehicle. The victim received serious injuries and was taken to the hospital via EMS personnel, where she was treated and discharged on Sunday 30th June, 2024. The 44-year-old male driver is assisting police with their investigations into this matter.

ABACO: TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN TRIPLE SHOOTING
Police in Abaco are questioning a 23-year-old male and a 30-year-old female in connection with a triple shooting incident that has left three (3) people injured.
The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Monday 01st July, 2024, at a nightclub on S.C. Bootle Highway.
The victims were transported to the local clinic for medical assistance; however, their conditions are unknown at this time.
At present, the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown; however, police are investigating and will provide an update as the information becomes available.
