POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING STOLEN VEHICLE
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a black 2014 Nissan Note L/P #DB0890, which was stolen from Misty Flowers Close on Sunday 30th June, 2024.
If you have any information that can assist police in locating this vehicle, please contact 911, 919, the nearest police station, or the Criminal Investigation Department @ 502-9991. Furthermore, anonymous tips are encouraged and can be submitted to CRIMESTOPPERS @ 328-TIPS (8477).
POLICE SEEK ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two (2) males responsible for an armed robbery which occurred on Sunday 30th June, 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that shortly before 9:00 p.m., a male, after withdrawing cash from an ATM on Mackey Street, was approached and subsequently robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by two (2) males, who were allegedly armed with handguns.
The culprits reportedly fled the area on a motorcycle and made good on their escape. Police are investigating and are appealing to members of the public to be vigilant when conducting financial transactions at night.

ELEUTHERA
POLICE INVESTIGTATE SHOOTING INCIDENT
Police on the island of Eleuthera are questioning two males, ages 24 and 26, in connection with a shooting incident that left two (2) males with injuries to the lower extremities on Sunday 30th June 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 11:40 a.m., a group of males were in the area of a club in Green Castle when an argument ensued between two (2) males.
It is reported that one of the men involved in the altercation produced a handgun and opened fire in the direction of the male with whom he was arguing, but that male was able to evade the suspect; however, two other males, ages 41 and 44, who were not involved in the altercation, were shot.
Both victims were taken to the local clinic, where they were treated and discharged. Police investigations continue.
NORTHERN BAHAMAS
BIMINI: TWO MEN ARRESTED IN DRUG CONFISCATION
Police in Bimini arrested two (2) men, ages 27 and 60, after a quantity of suspected marijuana was found in their home in Bailey Town.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday 29th June, 2024, officers executed a search warrant at the residence on Kings Highway and confiscated a quantity of suspected marijuana, which led to the arrest of the two male occupants.
The estimated weight and street value of the suspected drugs are currently unknown as investigations continue.
