ARRAIGNMENT
Police would like to inform the public that on Monday, June 10th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., two females ages 61 and 26 of Eleanor Way, San Andros, will be arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court with reference to Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition and Possession of Dangerous Drugs with Intent to Supply.
Preliminary reports indicate that on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 officers from the Andros Police Division executed a search warrant at the suspects’ residence, where they discovered a firearm with ammunition and two (2) kilos of suspected Cocaine, worth an estimated forty thousand ($40,000.00) dollars.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police recovered a black 2013 Nissan Juke L/P # DA0919 on Saturday, June 08th, 2004 in the area of Royal Poinciana Avenue in Garden Hills # 1.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen on Tuesday, June 04th, 2024, from Bamboo Street in Golden Gates # 1. The Criminal Investigation Department is currently conducting ongoing investigations into this matter.
FIREARMS SEIZED AND MALE ARRESTED
Police arrested a 20 year old male after he was found in possession of a firearm on Monday 10th June, 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that shortly before noon, officers from the Mobile Division were on routine saturation patrol in the area of Wulff Road and Union Village, when they observed the suspect acting in a suspicious manner.
The suspect on seeing the officers fled the area on foot and was observed discarding a firearm while attempting to evade police.
Subsequently, he was caught, arrested and the firearm containing a quantity of ammunition confiscated. Investigations into this matter are ongoing

LONG ISLAND: POLICE INVESTIGATE TRAFFIC FATALITY
Police in Long Island are investigating a traffic accident that resulted in the death of an adult female motorists on Sunday 09th June, 2024.
The accident occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Queens Highway. It is reported that a black Ford Ranger with a male driver and passenger was heading south and a white Honda Stream driven by a female driver was heading north when the two vehicles collided. The driver of the Honda Stream sustained severe injuries and was taken to the local clinic for medical attention but she later succumbed to her injuries.
Investigations continue into this matter.
