ARRAIGNMENT
Police wish to inform the general public that on Monday, June 3, 2024, a 31-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both from Southwestern New Providence, will be appearing before the Magistrate Court for firearm-related offences.
The male faces charges in connection with the confiscation of nine (9) firearms that occurred at Lynden Pindling International Airport Freight Terminal on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, while the female is involved in a separate incident.
STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
Police seek the public’s assistance in locating a white 2024 Kia Seltos L/P #AZ4092 that was reportedly stolen on Sunday 02nd June, 2024 from Fish Fry on West Bay Street.

ABACO: POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING
Police in Abaco are searching for a male suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday 02nd June, 2024, in Cooper’s Town.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. at a residence on Rebecca Street.
According to initial reports, the victim was involved in an argument with a female relative when another male, known to the victim, arrived at the home produced a firearm and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene in a gray Japanese vehicle. 2 The victim sustained injuries to his upper left extremity and was taken to the local clinic in a private vehicle, where he is currently in stable condition. Investigations continue.
