NEW PROVIDENCE
POLICE INVESTIGATE SEXUAL ASSAULT Police have launched an investigation into a sexual assault which occurred on Saturday 13th January, 2024, around 9:00 a.m., involving a 26-year-old female.
Preliminary reports indicate the victim was walking along Croton Street, Pinewood Gardens when a male, the sole occupant of a vehicle approached and offered her a ride. It is reported that the victim declined the offer, resulting in the driver forcing her into the vehicle.
The suspect reportedly drove to an area off Mackey Street, where the alleged sexual assault occurred. Police are actively investigating this incident and are appealing to members of the public who may have information that can assist with this investigation to contact them.
POLICE SEEK ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS Police are searching for two (2) males, who reportedly robbed a male of a PlayStation five game console on Saturday 13 th January, 2024.
The incident reportedly occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the Pinewood Gardens area.
Initial reports indicate that the victim advertised the game for sale on Facebook and agreed to meet the buyer at a home on Poincianna Avenue off Buttonwood Drive.
It is further reported that the victim on arrival to the residence, was redirected to another residence where he was approached by a male allegedly armed with a handgun and robbed of the game.
Police are aggressively investigating this incident and are appealing to members of the public to utilize the services of the police when exchanging cash for goods or services in these situations. Investigations continue.

GRAND BAHAMA: POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING STOLEN VESSEL Police in Grand Bahama are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a blue 32 ft. Ocean Pro boat, with a “Wasabi” logo.
The vessel, which was moored at a canal on Booty Drive off Midshipman Road was reportedly stolen between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on Friday 12th January, 2024, and 7:45 a.m. on Saturday 13th January, 2024.

NEW PROVIDENCE
SUSPECT APPREHENDED AFTER STABBING INCIDENT A 19-year-old female has been taken into police custody on Sunday 14th January, 2024, in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the vicinity of Montgomery Avenue off Carmichael Road.
Preliminary reports indicate that shortly before noon, the 19-year-old suspect was at a residence on Montgomery Avenue when she was involved in a dispute with a male relative. The dispute escalated, resulting in the suspect producing a knife and stabbing the victim to the upper torso.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and his condition is currently stable.
Officers of the Southwestern Division arrested the suspect while at the home and confiscated the weapon.
Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into this incident and strongly encourage individuals to explore alternative methods for resolving their conflicts.
